Features

Dedicated to Carlo Barbera, fifth generation of the family, this oil together with Lorenzo line is the flagship of our production. This oil comes from Castelvetrano, Partanna e Campobello di Mazara area, where Nocellara of Belice olive trees are cultivated with organic farming. Harvested by hand the last two weeks of October, this oil is pressed in “Premiati Oleifici Barbera” experimental mill using pitting machine. It is from the olives pulp that we obtain a Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, a precious, unique and unforgettable IGP (protected geographical indication).

Method of Harvest

Harvested by hand.

Extractions System

Initial stone removal process, within 12 hours from harvesting, followed by continuous extraction of the olive pulp at controlled atmosphere, natural settling and pouring.

Filtering Method

Natural fiber filters.

Aroma

Gently spicy with hints of flowers.

Taste

Light green olive with a strong creaminess.

Appearance

Creamy oil, green colour with golden yellow shines.

Use

Ideal on seafood and raw vegetables dishes.
