The extra virgin olive oil “Villa Barbera – Nocellara del Belice D.O.P. Valle del Belice” captures the full personality of the “Nocellara del Belice,” the queen of Sicilian cultivars. This exquisite oil is produced in the Valle del Belice, in the western part of Sicily, in an area spanning the provinces of Palermo, Trapani, and Agrigento. Its color is green with golden yellow highlights, and it has the aroma of freshly pressed olives with fresh hints of grass. The taste is pleasantly fruity and slightly pungent, with an aftertaste of almond, artichoke, and green tomato.
